Cricketer Mrinank Singh Arrested for Fraud: Dupes Rishabh Pant of Rs.1.63 Crores

Luxury-loving under-19 cricketer Mrinank Singh is involved in fraud, claiming association with Mumbai Indians in the IPL to enjoy lavish accommodations without paying. He cheated Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant of Rs.1.63 crores. Evading arrest, he switched phones and locations, finally getting caught at Delhi Airport while attempting to flee to Hong Kong. Mrinank previously stayed at Taj Palace in Delhi, leaving a Rs.5 lakh bill unpaid. Pretending to be an IPS officer, he continued his fraudulent activities, including deceiving Pant with promises of discounted expensive watches, resulting in a police complaint.

Mrinank Singh received Rs.1.63 crores from Rishabh Pant under the pretence of offering discounted high-end wristwatches, but Mrinank failed to deliver the watches. In response, Pant sent legal notices, prompting Mrinank to provide a fake check for the repayment. Shockingly, when Pant attempted to cash the check, he discovered the account had insufficient funds. A formal complaint has been lodged with the police, and Mrinank’s deceitful actions were fully revealed.
