Excitement Everywhere for IPL 2024, Discussion Over Dhoni’s Bat

IPL 2024 is likely to kick off on March 23. BCCI has not yet released the official schedule, but it seems that there is a delay in releasing the schedule in the background of the general elections in the country. MS Dhoni, captain of the defending champions Chennai Super Kings, has already begun his practice sessions. Mahi recently visited the sacred Devi Ma temple in Ranchi and has started training for IPL 2024. MS Dhoni’s practice photos have gone viral on social media. However, there’s a buzz on the internet about the bat Dhoni used during his practice sessions.

During the second T20 match between Australia and West Indies, it was noteworthy that commentators in the commentary box discussed MS Dhoni’s bat. Former Australian cricketers Adam Gilchrist and Michael Hussey discussed IPL 2024. Hussey said “I will travel to India 10 days before the IPL starts. I am eagerly looking forward to the IPL. The best cricketers in the world will compete. It’s a great opportunity for Indian young cricketers. Spectators will come in large numbers to watch the matches. The excitement they bring is amazing. MS Dhoni is getting ready for the IPL. He has already started practising in the nets.”

Adam Gilchrist responded to Michael Hussey’s comments. Adam Gilchrist stated “Yes, I saw MS Dhoni practising in the nets. I noticed the stickers on his new bat, which are related to a local sports store. Dhoni’s childhood friend runs that shop. As a gesture of support to boost sales, Dhoni has stuck those stickers on his bat.” Dhoni stuck a sticker labelled ‘Prime Sports’ on his bat, a sports company owned by his childhood friend Paramjit Singh. In the past, Dhoni has used stickers from brands like BAS, SS, Reebok, TON, and Spartan on his bat.
