In the last match, captain Suryakumar gave an unforgettable victory to India with a spectacular century. Hosts South Africa faced defeat as India showed their strength in batting and bowling. The Indian team won by 106 runs against the Proteas.

Batting first in the match held in Johannesburg, India added 201 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. ‘Player of the match’ captain Suryakumar Yadav (100 off 56 balls, 7 fours, 8 sixes) lit the innings up with a century. The South African players went back to the pavilion one after the other due to the unforgiving Indian bowling attack. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav (5/17) exploded in this game to take the Proteas by storm. One match in this series had already been cancelled due to rain. South Africa won the second match and India won the third match. As a result, the three-match T20I series was tied at 1-1. Meanwhile, the three-match ODI series between the two teams is set to begin on Sunday.

Surya’s Record
