IPL 2024: First Woman Auctioneer In IPL History, Who Is She?

Everything is ready for the IPL-2024 auction, which will be held on December 19 in Dubai. A total of 333 players from 12 countries, including India, will participate in this auction. But this time, the auctioneer is a woman, which is the first time in the history of IPL. Mallika Sagar will replace Hugh Edmeades, who has been the auctioneer for the last few IPL seasons. In this regard, BCCI released an official statement on Sunday.

Impressed In Pro Kabaddi League

Mallika Sagar is an art collector from Mumbai. She started her career as an auctioneer 20 years ago. Mainly at Christie’s Auction House in 2001, Mallika impressed everyone at the Pro Kabaddi League auction in 2021. Later, Mallika also conducted the auction for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction season, which was held for the first time in the history of Indian cricket. Now, Mallika is ready to end the auction with a bang.
