Traffic Fines For Captain Rohit Ahead Of IND vs BAN Match Today

India will face Bangladesh today as part of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The match will start at 2 PM on Thursday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Before this match, the Pune traffic police gave an unexpected shock to Team India captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit was issued challans for speeding on the Mumbai-Pune highway. It is reported that ‘Hitman’ was driving at a speed of more than 200 km per hour.

After the match against Pakistan on October 14, the Indian players got a 5-day break. As part of this break, Team India captain Rohit Sharma reached Mumbai in a helicopter from Ahmedabad. Rohit, who spent two days with his family before the match against Bangladesh, left Mumbai in his Lamborghini Urus to join the Indian team in Pune. Rohit was speeding beyond the limit on the Mumbai-Pune highway. At one stage, Rohit’s car reached a speed of 215 km/h. The traffic police issued three challans to Rohit, the owner of the car, for speeding at different places.

Going into details, a senior police officer stopped Rohit Sharma’s speeding car. The official suggested Rohit Sharma to travel in the team bus with a police escort.

Currently, Captain Rohit is in exquisite form. Rohit scored 217 runs from 3 matches in this World Cup so far. Fans want Hitman to unleash himself against Bangladesh as well. It is known that Rohit has scored the most centuries in World Cups with a total of 7 currently. Looking at Rohit’s form, it will not be surprising if he scores another 2 or 3 centuries in this World Cup.
