Yashasvi Jaiswal Clinches ICC Men’s Player of the Month

Indian young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has received the ICC award. He was selected as the ‘Player of the Month’ for February after scoring a flood of runs in the Test series against England at home.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Jaiswal scored 712 runs in the 5-match Test series against England, including 2 double centuries. In this sequence, he was nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award. He emerged as the winner by outvoting Kane Williamson and Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka in the voting. In the women’s category, Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland won the ICC Player of the Month award.
