In an IPL match held at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by a margin of 7 wickets. KKR played well up to the powerplay overs (the first six overs) in the match. However, Jadeja, who came into the bowl in the 7th over, started the downfall of the team. Angkrish was dismissed LBW on the first ball of Jadeja’s 7th over. Similarly, he sent the dangerous-looking Sunil Narine back to the pavilion on the fifth delivery of the same over. Jadeja claimed his third wicket of Venkatesh Iyer. Thus, the all-rounder gave away only 18 runs in his four overs and took three wickets. He also caught Phil Salt and Shreyas Iyer, completing 100 catches in the league’s history.
