Jagan Government Rebuilds Temples Demolished By Chandrababu

In the name of Krishna Pushkaralu in 2016, CM Chandrababu during the TDP regime ruthlessly demolished nine temples in Vijayawada. However, Jagan’s government has fulfilled its promise to rebuild these nine demolished temples after coming to power. To this extent, two years ago, the foundation stones were laid for the development of the temples and recently, CM Jagan inaugurated these temples.

Development works with Rs.3.87 crores

CM Jagan has taken up the development work for the temples demolished by Chandrababu Govt in the past with Rs.3.87 crores. To this extent, Dakshina Mukha Anjaneya Swamy Temple with Rs.31.5 lakhs, Seethamma Vari Padalu with Rs.9.5 lakhs, Sri Seetha Rama Lakshmana Sametha Dasanjaneya Swamy Temple with Rs.10 lakhs, Veerababu Temple with Rs.10 lakhs, Vijayawada’s Gosamrakshana Krishna Mandiram with Rs.20 lakhs, Boddu Bomma with Rs.8 lakhs Figure, Anjaneyaswamy temple and Vinayaka Swamy temple’s first step with Rs.20 lakhs, Sree Shaneshwara Swamy temple with Rs.2 crores have been renovated. Apart from these, the Malleswara Swamy temple was undertaken with Rs.5.60 lakh government funds, Indrakeeladri hill protection works with Rs.4.25 crores, LT panel boards, energy, water management and SCADA works which were undertaken with Rs.3.25 crores, were inaugurated by CM Jagan. Also, a megawatt solar power station has been built at a cost of Rs.5.66 crores at the site of the temple in Pathapadu, and temples have been built at the bottom of the hill at a cost of Rs.23 lakhs.

Master Plan with Rs.216 crores

CM Jagan, after visiting Vijayawada Kanaka Durga, laid the foundation stone for development work on Indrakeeladri with Rs.216 crores. The government is ready to take up the construction as per the master plan for infrastructure creation to accommodate the increasing devotee traffic. Out of Rs.57 crore state funds the construction of Anna Prasada Bhavan with Rs 30 crore, Prasadam Potu Bhavan with Rs 27 crore, Elevated queue complex with Rs 13 crore, Stairs in front of Rajagopuram with Rs 15 crore, Additional queue in south with Rs 23.50 crore Complex, construction of Maharaja Dwara at Kanakadurga Nagar entrance at Rs.7.75 crores, change of queue complex at Mallikarjuna Maha Mandapam at Rs.18.30 crores, construction of new Kesha Khandana Shala at Rs.19 crores, conversion of existing Goshala building into a complex at Rs.10 crores, construction of a granite rock Yagashala on the hill with Rs.5 crores, Devasthanam of Rs.33 crores, construction of multi-level car parking at Kanakadurga Nagar will be taken up with private participation.
