Giriraj Singh condemns WB attack on ED officials: Criticises Mamata

Union Minister Giriraj Singh expressed anger over the attack on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team in West Bengal. He compared the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government headed by CM Mamata Banerjee to the government of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. He accused that there is no democracy in that state. In the wake of the attack in the state on the ED team which had gone for inspections on the allegation of ration distribution scam, he made sharp criticisms.

Supporters of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh attacked a group of ED officials while they were going for inspections in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. They destroyed the vehicles they were travelling in. Shahjahan Sheikh was arrested by ED officials in the multi-crore ‘Ration Scam’. West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose also condemned the attack on the officers. The officers injured in the incident are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
