In this context, Rajasingh, who won as the BJP MLA from Goshamahal, made it clear that if the AIMIM party MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi is appointed as Pro-tem Speaker, he will not take the oath. He said that he would take oath only after the full-time Speaker of the Assembly arrived. In 2018 too, Rajasingh announced the same when AIMIM MLA Mumtaz Khan acted as the Pro-tem Speaker.
