CM Revanth Unveils Plans to Tackle Teacher Vacancies and Elevate Education System

The Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is taking initiatives to address teacher vacancies. After reviewing the education department, the Chief Minister directed officials to fill teacher positions through Mega DSC, emphasizing attention to challenges in promotions and transfers. Reddy stressed the importance of ensuring that every gram panchayat has a school, advocating for the reopening of schools that are closed due to low student numbers. Additionally, he urged the completion of pending tasks in the Mana Uru – Mana Badi program.

Instructions were issued to authorities regarding changing the electricity bill category for schools exploring alternative methods for bill collection in the business and industrial categories. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for proper arrangements for sweepers and sanitation workers in schools.

Furthermore, officials were advised to consider establishing a skill university in each joint district, with plans to study similar institutions in other states. State Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari received directives to form a committee, including Secretaries of Education, Industries, and Labor Departments, to prepare proposals for the Skill University. The Chief Minister has decided to establish a Skill University in the Kodangal constituency.
