MLC Kavitha Advocates Allocating 20 Thousand Crores for BC Welfare

BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has written a letter to Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, requesting an allocation of 20 thousand crores for the welfare of BC in the upcoming budget. The letter emphasizes the implementation of promises made by the Congress for the BC community, including legitimizing the BC sub-plan and allocating one lakh crore rupees for BC welfare in the next five years. Prof. Jayashankar’s proposal for constructing BC unity buildings in each district center at a cost of 50 crores is also highlighted. Kavitha asserts that allocating 20 thousand crores in the budget would fulfill Congress’s promises to the BC community.

Adjournment of Supreme Court

The Supreme Court hearing on the petition filed by BRS MLC Kavitha challenging the ED’s investigation in the Delhi Liquor Scam case has been adjourned. The petition argues non-compliance with CRPS provisions and questions the necessity of calling a woman to the ED office for investigation. The Supreme Court conducted an inquiry and adjourned the hearing to the 16th of this month.
