Today is the Deadline for Praja Palana application: Is there an extension?

It is known that the Telangana Congress Government has started applications for ‘Praja Palana’ for the implementation of the 6 guarantees. Saturday is the last day for these applications. People are giving huge applications for Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, Gruha Jyothi, Indiramma Houses and Cheyutha schemes. Lakhs of applications are already coming in. As it is the last day, there is a possibility that the number of applications will be huge. However, people want to extend the application deadline by a few more days. The government has already made it clear that the deadline will not be extended.

Earlier, the government had announced that the applications for ‘Praja Palana’, which started on December 28, would be accepted till January 6. Applications are being accepted in Grama Sabhas in villages and special meetings in each ward in towns. A large number of people are applying for welfare schemes.

No need to worry!

People are worried that if they miss the opportunity, they will not be able to apply again, and if they do not apply now, they will not get the schemes. Recently the government has given a clarification on this. While making it clear that there is no possibility of extending the deadline at present, it has announced that ‘Praja Palana’ will be held again after four months. Those who are unable to apply now need not worry, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari announced. She explained that special public administration meetings will be held in villages and towns once every 4 months and applications will be received from the eligible. She clarified that the government’s mission is to provide welfare schemes to all the deserving ones. So people can apply after 4 months by preparing all the documents. There is no need to worry.
