There are two ways to check if your name is on the voter list: 1. You can receive it via SMS. 2. You can find out by calling the EC helpline number.

To find out through SMS, you can follow these steps:
- From your registered mobile phone, send an SMS in the format containing your EPIC ID number.
- Send this message to 1950.
- After a short while, you will receive a message in response.
- Opening this message will reveal your polling booth number, name, and address details.
This SMS service is a quick and easy way to verify if your name is listed on the voter list and to get information about your designated polling booth for voting.

To find out through the helpline, you can follow these steps:
- Call the toll-free helpline number 1950 from your registered mobile phone.
- After calling, you will hear an automated voice instruction. Follow the prompts to select your preferred language.
- Once the language is selected, you’ll be instructed to choose the option related to checking your name in the voter list.
- You will then be prompted to enter your Voter ID (EPIC) number.
- After entering your EPIC number, the system will provide information about your polling booth number, your name, and your address as registered in the voter list.
This process helps you to verify whether your name is included in the voter list and provides you with details regarding your polling booth for voting.
