Mahadevi Varma’s Birth Anniversary

Mahadevi Varma was a prominent Hindi poetess born in 1907. She is considered one of the four pillars of the Chhayavad era in Hindi literature. She observed and examined the inner turmoil and anger prevalent in India and tried to provide a vision to dispel the darkness. She wrote extensively to promote awareness among women. She passed away on September 11, 1987.

Noted actor Prakash Raj was born on March 26, 1965, in Karnataka. He began his acting career as a stage actor and then entered the film industry, acting in multiple languages. He has acted as a hero, villain, and character artist, earning a reputation as a versatile actor. He has starred in nearly 200 films and has won numerous awards. He has received the National Award for Best Supporting Actor, five Filmfare Awards, and six Nandi Awards.

Dukkipati Madhusudhana Rao’s Death Anniversary

Dukkipati Madhusudhana Rao was a Telugu film producer who made films under the banner of Annapurna Pictures. He had been associated with the film industry since 1940. Dukkipati was one of the most influential people in Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s film career. On September 10, 1951, he co-founded Annapurna Pictures with Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Katragadda Srinivasa Rao, Koratala Prakasha Rao, and T.V.A. Surya Rao. They produced the film “Donga Ramudu”. He went on to produce several other films. Dukkipati passed away on March 26, 2006.
