Chandrababu Naidu’s Plot to Sabotage Volunteer System

TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu seems set on scrapping the volunteer system, sowing doubts about its credibility. He’s actively pushing this agenda forward. While promising volunteers Rs. 10,000 monthly in their manifesto if they come to power, behind the scenes, they’re scheming to dismantle the very system. His recent remarks on the volunteer system hint at this agenda.

Chandrababu recently suggested that instead of using volunteers to deliver pensions door-to-door, the village panchayat secretaries could handle it. He pointed out that there are around 15,000 panchayat staff, 5,000 ‘Velugu’ employees, and 3,000 horticulture department employees in the state who could easily manage pension distribution. He also promised to demonstrate how this would work when he came into power.

Volunteers Reject Babu, Even with Rs10k Offer!

According to Chandrababu, if his coalition government comes to power in the upcoming elections, the first thing he’ll do is get rid of the volunteer system. That’s why not a single volunteer across the state believes Chandrababu’s promises. Even if they’re offered 10,000 rupees a month, no volunteer cares. They’re all supporting Jaganmohan Reddy, who created the volunteer system, gave them jobs, and brightened their lives. In line with Jagan’s promise, all the volunteers are resigning. CM Jagan assured them that as soon as the YCP government comes to power, he’ll immediately rehire the resigned volunteers.
