Chief Minister Jagan Showcases Major Welfare Achievements Under YSRCP Rule

During a roadshow in Narasapuram as part of the election campaign, YSRCP leader and Chief Minister YS Jagan posed a question about TDP leader and former CM Chandrababu Naidu, asking if anyone can remember even a single scheme initiated by him. Jagan criticized Chandrababu heavily on this occasion. He stated that the ongoing struggle in the state is not between castes but is a class war. Jagan asserted that under YSRCP governance, every poor family has benefitted, and he warned that if Chandrababu is voted back into power, all the current schemes being implemented in the state will be cancelled.

Same Alliance, New Strategies

In the 2014 alliance manifesto, Jagan accused the TDP Alliance of not fulfilling any of the promises made. He criticized them for deceiving people by promising loan waivers for farmers, allocation of house sites, and interest-free loans to DWACRA groups. He reminded that over five years of governance, Rs. 2.70 lakh crores were spent on welfare for all categories, and claimed to have brought revolutionary changes in AP like never before. He stated that the same alliance is returning with new deceptions, asking the people if they would believe in promises like providing a kilogram of gold and a Benz car to every household.

‘Kurukshetra’ War to Commence in Ten Days

Jagan requested that to continue the services of volunteers they have to vote for the YSRCP party as the ‘Kurukshetra’ battle is about to take place in another ten days. He stated that these elections will decide the continuation of your household’s Schemes for the next five years. He mentioned that during these five years of governance, grandparents received a pension of Rs. 3,000 directly at their homes. However, he questioned if such a situation of receiving a pension at home ever occurred during Chandrababu’s rule. Additionally, he claimed to have provided nine hours of free electricity during the daytime for farmers and expanded the Aarogyasri health scheme up to Rs. 25 lakhs for the treatment of the poor. Along with this, he also mentioned that they have created 231,000 job opportunities.
