Ayodhya Ram Temple Witnesses Generous Donations
Devotees are thronging to visit the Ayodhya Ram Temple, inaugurated in January this year. They are visiting to worship the Bala Rama and have donated around Rs. 25 crores to the Ayodhya temple within a month. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has disclosed this information, mentioning that the donations include 25 kilos of gold and silver ornaments.

Prakash Gupta, in charge of the Ram Temple Trust office, stated that nearly 60 lakh devotees visited Rama since January 23. It’s estimated that over 50 lakh devotees will visit Baby Rama on Sri Ramanavami. To handle the donations during Ramanavami without any issues, the State Bank of India has set up four automatic high-tech counting machines at Ram Janmabhoomi.
Anil Mishra, a trustee of the Ram Temple Trust, mentioned that over 10 computer counters for issuing receipts and additional Hundi (donation boxes) have been set up. The devotees are offering gold, silver ornaments, and valuable items as donations. The process of melting these items and their management has been entrusted to the Government of India.
Similarly, Anil Mishra mentioned that responsibilities like collecting donations, cheques, drafts, cash, and depositing them in the bank have been entrusted to the State Bank of India (SBI). An agreement has been made with the bank for this purpose. Mishra also stated that the cash received as donations is counted in two shifts every day.
