No clarity over whether Pawan Kalyan will contest as an MP or an MLA yet!

It has been ten years since the Janasena party was formed. The chief of the party, Pawan Kalyan, is facing severe criticism for still not being clear about where he should contest. Even after 10 years of forming the party, Pawan Kalyan himself claiming that Amit Shah will decide whether he should contest from Pithapuram MLA segment or Kakinada MP segment, might be the lowest point in Pawan’s downfall in politics. Even political analysts feel that it is dangerous for the existence of Janasena if he has to wait for orders from other parties even in the matter of where he should contest.

Janasena’s strides towards a merger?

His comments once again come to prove that Pawan Kalyan is not capable of making his own decisions politically. Earlier, during the formation of the alliance, he himself admitted that he did not have the strength and power to contest on his own. Now the same words are being made true. TDP chief Chandrababu decides where Janasena should contest. BJP will decide where Pawan will contest. Then what’s the use of establishing your own party? Analysts suggest that it is possible to merge his party with TDP or BJP.

Pawan on Chiranjeevi’s path, Janasena merger with BJP on July 18 or 20?

Looking at the current situation, it seems that Pawan Kalyan is walking on the same path as his elder brother Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi also founded the Praja Rajyam Party with much fanfare and eventually merged it into the Congress Party. Also, Pawan Kalyan is hinting at merging the Janasena party with the BJP on July 18 or 20, according to insiders. Whether Pawan contests as an MLA and loses, or contests as an MP and loses, regardless of the election results, it seems that the BJP government at the centre will give him a seat in the Rajya Sabha, after the merger.
