Harshit Rana Fined for Unsportsmanlike Conduct Despite Match-Winning Performance

Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Harshit Rana faced a fine for breaching the IPL’s code of conduct during their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.

Rana displayed unsportsmanlike conduct after dismissing SRH batsmen Mayank Agarwal and Heinrich Klaasen. The match referee deemed his actions as Level 1 offences, resulting in a 60% fine on his match fee (10% for each incident). Rana accepted the sanctions.

However, his on-field performance was commendable. He bagged three wickets for just 33 runs in his four overs, playing a crucial role in KKR’s narrow four-run victory.
