Kavitha Criticises TS Government: ‘Congress State or Police State?’

On Thursday, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha alleged, “Is this a Congress regime or police state? They filed cases instead of facing us politically. After Congress came to power, MLC Jeevan Reddy unfairly made up a case against the BRS Sarpanch”. She warned, “We won’t accept illegal cases; we’ll fight against them.”. She also promised to keep the activists safe and gave them courage. Kavitha went to see BRS leader Rajeshwar Reddy, the Sarpanch of Habsipur village, inJagtial Sub Jail.

Kavaith criticised that as soon as Congress came to power in the state, Jeevan Reddy filed an unrelated case on Rajeshwar Reddy. She said that BRS has shown the kind of development that Jeevan Reddy could not do in his 30-year tenure. She added that they could not bear to see the progress made by them. Kavitha questioned, “Is this a regime of police or the Congress party?”. She claimed that Congress leaders made unfulfillable promises to come into power.
