Congress Releases Election Manifesto with Comprehensive Guarantees for Social Welfare

The Congress Party has released its election manifesto amidst the backdrop of general elections in the country. The manifesto, titled “Nyay Patra – 2024,” was launched by AICC Chief Kharge, along with senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. The manifesto includes 25 guarantees in addition to social welfare schemes, coining the manifesto with the tagline “Paanch Nyay, Pachees Guarantee”. The manifesto focuses on job creation, wealth generation, and welfare measures, as announced by the manifesto committee chairman P. Chidambaram.

Manifesto committee chairman Chidambaram stated that people have not received justice in the past decade and destruction has occurred in all sectors. He promised that upon coming to power, they would bring light into the lives of the poor. The Congress manifesto includes the distribution of 8 crore Congress Guarantee cards nationwide, a nationwide caste census, removal of the 50% limit on reservations, and GST exemption for agricultural equipment.
