Delhi Liquor Scam: CM Arvind Kejriwal Transferred to Tihar Jail

In the Delhi liquor scam case, another significant development has emerged as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by the Rouse Avenue Court. Consequently, Kejriwal will remain in judicial custody until April 15th. The court has ordered Kejriwal to be sent to Tihar Jail.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, facing charges in the Delhi liquor scam case, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21st and presented before the Rouse Avenue Court. The court initially remanded Kejriwal to ED custody for a week. With the end of the seven-day custody period, ED officials again presented him in court today. Subsequently, the court has now ordered a 14-day judicial remand for Kejriwal.
