PV Sindhu Updates Fans On Injury: Crack In Knee

Two-time Olympic medalist and badminton player PV Sindhu has suffered an injury. A scan was done on her left knee due to a minor sprain. It is reported that the doctors advised her to take rest as she got a crack in her left leg. It is known that Sindhu withdrew from the second round of the French Open held in Rennes last week due to injury. During this tournament, she was injured while playing against Thailand’s Supanida Katethong. Sindhu said that doctors have suggested she needs to rest for a few weeks before starting training again. She said that after taking a break from the game for a while, more focus can be put on the upcoming Olympics. She revealed that she will enter the badminton court again soon.

Falling Rank Of Sindhu

PV Sindhu’s game is at a worrying stage at the moment. She has lost her form in recent times. At one point, Sindhu’s rank fell to as low as no.17 in August. Later, she made it to the top ten as her rank improved somewhat after she advanced to the semis in the Arctic Open and Denmark Open tournaments. Meanwhile, the Korea Masters from November 7 to 12, the Japan Masters from November 14 to 19, the China Masters from November 21 to 26, Syed Modi India International Tournament from November 28 to December 3 are all going to take place in the badminton calendar.
